The screen has a kind of auto-dimming that can not be extinguished with a parameter. The screen is about 35% darker abruptly after about 5 seconds of a dark scene. It 'really annoying because it is a step back and the sudden change to brilliant is also very evident and occurs after a slight delay. I have this TV in my room and generally look into the darkness, where is even more obvious and annoying.
Search with Google and you will find many examples of people who complain. There is no easy setting to disable this feature.
When you watch sports or other things permanently shiny, it's a beautiful picture and you will not see this problem. But if you watch the films more, could make you mad.
I am very sorry I bought this TV.
